How to apply human-centered design thinking to your business
This course is an intensive immersion into Human-Centered Design Thinking. The course teaches participants how to identify opportunities, research and explore possible solutions, develop deep customer empathy/understanding and iterate multiple times to create game-changing solutions. The system is inherently multi-disciplinary and allows an organization or design team to take advantage of each member's unique perspective and talents.
This course is taught through a combination of interactive classroom activities and experiential learning. Participants will be part of multidisciplinary teams creating rapid solutions and plans addressing user issues.
Participants will be introduced to the following Human-Centered Design Thinking concepts and practices: mindset, including learn from failure, embracing ambiguity, and iterate, iterate, iterate; inspiration with topics such as framing the challenge, project plans and team building; ideation practices that include insight statements, frameworks, brainstorming, mash-ups, and more; and implementation such as live prototyping, roadmaps, pilots, and monitor and evaluate.

Who Should Attend
This course is intended for Executives, Senior Managers, Managers, Team Leads, Senior Scientists, Researchers and anyone within an organization who wants to understand and practice Human-Centered Design Thinking.
