Course Detail: RMA1 - 48th Annual RMA-ECU Commercial Credit and Lending School - Year 1 Program
Course Description
The Commercial Credit and Lending School is held annually on the campus of East Carolina University, Greenville, North Carolina and is open to persons who are employed by member institutions of Risk Management Association and to other banking professionals. The number of participants will be limited to help ensure an optimal educational experience.

The 2019 program is the 48th Annual Commercial Lending School. The First Year Program is designed for new commercial lenders wanting to learn more about their professional practice.

School Format
A week long course involving lectures, case studies, class discussion, and participant interaction.

  • - An increased knowledge of credit fundamentals and principles as a basis for sound lending practices
  • - A battery of skills for obtaining verbal and written information pertinent to the decision-making process
  • - A knowledge of certain considerations throughout the lending process that have proven to be pitfalls for the inexperienced commercial lending officer

What is included
The fee includes five nights double-occupancy lodging; Sunday and Thursday evening banquets; Monday - Friday breakfasts; Monday - Thursday lunches; refreshment breaks; tuition; and instructional materials.
