Course Detail: RMA1 - 47th Annual RMA-ECU Commercial Credit and Lending School - Year 1 Program
The Commercial Lending School is held annually on the campus of East Carolina University, Greenville, North Carolina and is open to persons who are employed by member institutions of Risk Management Association and to other banking professionals. The number of participants will be limited to help ensure an optimal educational experience. Further information about school arrangements will follow upon acceptance of the participants. The 2018 program is the 47th Annual Commercial Lending School.

SCHOOL FORMAT:
A learning situation involving lectures, case studies, class discussion, and participant interaction.

SCHOOL PARTICIPANTS SHOULD GAIN:
  • An increased knowledge of credit fundamentals and principles as a basis for sound lending practices.
  • A battery of skills for obtaining verbal and written information pertinent to the decision-making process.
  • A knowledge of certain considerations throughout the lending process that have proven to be pitfalls for the inexperienced commercial lending officer.
  • An improved ability to collect, analyze, and evaluate loan information.
  • A heightened sense of professional code of conduct based on established banking ethics.

    WHAT IS INCLUDED:
    The fee includes five nights double-occupancy lodging; Sunday and Thursday evening banquets; Monday - Friday breakfasts; Monday - Thursday lunches; refreshment breaks; tuition; instructional materials; and transportation between hotel and campus.
