MumFest is a combination of family fun, entertainment, attractions, exhibitors, and great food in the beautifully restored setting of historic downtown New Bern and its waterfront. Be sure to check out the famous MumFest mum features at Union Point Park and the lot next to Mitchel Hardware where you'll see the mum arch and the 50' long welcome sign! Both features are made entirely out of mums grown in eastern NC. These fan favorites are now a permanent part of the annual mumfestivities! There's also a great lineup of live music that can be found on the Mum Fest website! Visit the Birthplace of Pepsi, Tryon Palace, local restaurants, historic markers and homes, and more!
