This class is a focused introduction to art quilting led by Marie Hamra at the Greenville Museum of Art's Education Building. You will create a memorial or family quilt pattern through different techniques such as applique, embellishments, and other quilting methods that allow room for creative exploration and reflection. You will be able to leave with a customized art quilt that will have a lifetime full of memories. To keep prices low, accessible, and to make quilts fully customizable we will ask learners to buy their own materials. GMoA will create a supply sheet with a list of materials needed for class. The supply sheet will be provided before this class begins.
