Course Detail: LLPEDEN - Historic Edenton

Boasting the title of North Carolina's second oldest town, Edenton, established in the late 17th century, was the state's first colonial capital, and was at one time the state's second largest port. Stepping back into time, through guided tours of the Roanoke River Lighthouse, Chowan County Courthouse, and Iredell House, you will learn about the rich history of Edenton, such as how the Maritime Underground Railroad provided means of escape, and much more. Your trip will also consist of a guided trolley tour through downtown historic Edenton and lunch at a local restaurant.
