Course Detail: LLPCSISHIP - Maritime Archaeology: Battle of the Atlantic and WW2 Shipwrecks

The Outer Banks of North Carolina is known as the Graveyard of the Atlantic due to the numerous ships that have come to rest in the waters off our coast. Coastal Studies Institute's Assistant Director of Engagement and Outreach has explored a few of these shipwrecks. In this hour and a half course, the story of these shipwrecks will be told through images from John's dives and dives of other researchers. Come join us to learn more about why it's the Graveyard of the Atlantic and what shipwrecks lie off our coast.
