Course Detail: ESL - English as a Second Language
This test contains 60 questions and lasts 55 minutes. Based on the results, a student will be placed in either ESL1 or ESL2. If they are placed in ESL2, they have exemption from ESL1 and will receive credit.
The English Placement Test consists of two parts, mechanics and rhetoric. A score of 22 (part 1) and 20 (part 2) will place students in English 1102 and give them three hours of credit for English 1101.
Valid ID Required at the time of testing.

Test Availability: The exam is available Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Test Length: 55 minutes Max
Results: Your test results will be available the next Thursday morning after your test date.
