Course Description: QuickBooks Online for Small Businesses

Whether you are setting up your QuickBooks Online for the first time or you want to learn more about the full functionality, this course is for you! You will learn:

-How to create your Chart of Accounts
-How to set up Customers and Vendors
-How to link your bank accounts and when you might not want to
-How to track money earned and spent
-How to run and understand reports, and much more!

The instructor is a seasoned QuickBooks professional and business consultant. She has extensive experience helping small businesses better understand their QuickBooks data entry, accounting, and interpreting reports to make your business more successful. You will leave this fun, interactive class with a solid foundation for using QuickBooks Online to manage your business and with your questions answered.

Patti Norris

Biography: Patti Norris brings many years of business, technology, and teaching expertise to our instructional team. Along with a B.A. in Economics and a Masters of Business Administration, her long career in the high-tech industry includes extensive experience with using, teaching, and supporting many popular software applications. Patti is driven to help translate "tech-speak" into "human-speak" and to make the power of technology usable for everyone. In addition to her work at COCC's Center for Business, Industry & Professional Development, Patti is also a part-time faculty member of the college's Computer & Information Systems department, and an advocate for business and education in Central Oregon and around the state.

Cancellation Policy

Students must cancel by contacting our office via phone: (541) 383-7270 or email: ceinfo@cocc.edu. Cancellations received 5 days prior to the start of the class will receive a full refund. Full refunds are also issued for classes cancelled by COCC. Refunds will be issued back to your card or in the form of a check and mailed within two weeks of the cancellation date if paid by check or cash. Failure to participate in a course or program does not result in a refund. Exceptions to the general refund policy are noted in the course descriptions on our website and in the printed schedule.
