Biography: Chuck recently retired from over 20 years in the financial services industry, working on an advisory team that managed over $1.2B in assets. During his time in that role, he worked in several areas of the business, including marketing, compliance, and staffing, in addition to performing portfolio management and delivering financial plans. Previously, he held positions in engineering, operations and management in the cellular communications industry. Chuck spent seven years working with the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards performing curriculum reviews and creating content for the exam, and is also a Certified Exit Planning Advisor. Chuck has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Michigan, and an M.B.A. from the University of Washington. He and his family recently relocated from the Seattle area to Bend, where he enjoys golf, making music, working on cars, and growing his small business consulting firm. He currently teaches in the Business Administration program at COCC, and was also a part time yoga instructor and musician before his relocation.Chuck enjoys numbers, math and business, but has a strong passion for financial literacy. He is excited to be teaching practical, useful content so that all of his students feel confident in these concepts that can be utilized every day.
