DESCRIPTION:Event Description:\n\nYouth Camp: Berry Sweet Bakes\n\nBerry Sweet Bakes is a delicious two-day baking adventure celebrating the many ways dough can become something extraordinary with the addition of berries! Campers will get hands-on experience creating classic and creative berry-filled treats while learning essential baking techniques along the way. Recipes include fluffy strawberry shortcake, chocolate strawberry rugelach and cherry chevre cheesecake, giving students the chance to work with different doughs, chocolate and strawberries and cherries.<br> <br>All COCC baking and culinary Youth Camps utilize real kitchen equipment and focus on hands-on learning while working both independently and collaboratively in small groups. Students are expected to be able to manage their own ingredients, equipment and workspace, and take responsibility for kitchen safety and cleanliness. The kitchen is not gluten or peanut free. Please indicate known allergies in the checkout process when prompted. Ages 10-15.\n\nPlease make sure your child(ren) are fed before camp begins. They are welcome to bring snacks from home. Students should bring 1-2 leftover containers each day to share what they have prepared.
