DESCRIPTION:Event Description:\n\nPrineville: Night Star Photography\n\nExperience the creativity and beauty of star photography with professional photographer Brent Bunch. Learn how to do star photography and light painting with a flashlight, how to set up a digital camera in full manual mode to achieve the best star shots, and how to edit star shots in your computer. This class will take place at Prineville Reservoir State Park, which is an International Dark Sky park.\n\n<p class="MsoNormal">Class will be held at Prineville Reservoir Campground, Day Use Boat Dock and Fishing Pier. Meet near the fish cleaning building in the boat parking lot at 7 pm. Students need to purchase a Day Use Parking Permit prior to the course at the Oregon State Parks website <a href="https://oregonstateparks.reserveamerica.com/posProducts.do?contractCode=OR&amp;posFilterCat=828240345">HERE</a>. There is no a kiosk at the park. Please bring with you to class: adjustable digital camera that can shoot in full manual mode (manual focus, shutter speed, aperture and ISO), tripod, wide-angle lens (preferred F2.8 or faster), spare battery recommended. Optional: Red filter flashlight, remote shutter release, laptop to edit photos. If you have questions about your camera or equipment, please contact the instructor, Brent Bunch, at sbunch3@msn.com. This class will be held outside at night; please dress appropriately.
