DESCRIPTION:Event Description:\n\nArt: Manga Drawing Youth Camp\n\nIn this camp, students will experience the exciting field of Manga drawing, an immersive storytelling style made popular in Japanese comics. Students will learn the basics of illustration in the Manga style, and will have time to practice sketching people, facial features, hair, clothing, gesture and facial expression, as well as learning inking and color techniques. Principles of drawing and using colored pencils will be utilized. At the end of the camp, students will have created their own Manga character!  No experience necessary in drawing to join the fun! All materials provided. For students ages 10-15.\n\nPlease make sure your child(ren) are fed before camp begins.
