Explore the mechanics of photography, from camera controls like buttons and dials to creating photos from start to finish. Build hands-on camera experience in class and during a four-hour field session. Beginners and intermediate photo enthusiasts are welcome, and no prerequisites are required. Students need a digital camera with interchangeable lenses; cell phone cameras are <b> not <b> allowed. A tripod is recommended. Students are encouraged to contact the instructor before purchasing equipment, if they are considering a purchase in advance of class. Students are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the field session.\n\nRequired Camera Equipment:<br>Students must have a digital camera with interchangeable lenses. No cell phone cameras. A tripod is recommended. Community Education can provide you with the instructor's contact details if you have questions or need advice about equipment.\n\nEvent Schedule:\n\nClassroom Sessions start Thursday, April 1 and are on Tuesdays and Thursdays after that: 4/1; 4/6; 4/8; 4/13; 4/15 from 5-7:30 pm.
