DESCRIPTION:Event Description:\n\nPhotography 103: Landscape Composition and Advanced Editing Techniques\n\nJoin professional photographer Steve Giardini to learn how to compose and edit nature and landscape photographs for stunning results. The course covers photo composition theory and advanced Lightroom editing techniques. Be prepared for fast-paced presentations, at-home and in-classroom editing practice (sample files provided), and hands-on field practice. This course includes two field practice sessions in the Central Oregon region. Students must arrange their own transportation to the practice site. Students need an Adobe Lightroom subscription or must be willing to sign up for a free 7-day trial. Additionally, students must have a portable computer or tablet with Wi-Fi or cellular connectivity. Please contact the instructor for guidance before purchasing software or hardware. All photo enthusiasts are welcome. \n\nRequired Materials: Students must have a digital camera-cell phone cameras are not allowed. A camera with a detachable lens is preferred, but not required. The camera should have a rechargeable battery and a memory card. A tripod is required. Refer to the computer requirements above.
