DESCRIPTION:Event Description:\n\nIntermediate Conversational Spanish: Introduction to Past Tenses\n\nTake your Spanish-speaking skills to a higher level in this intermediate language class. Build confidence in daily conversation and gain additional vocabulary and communication skills. In this course students will briefly review present tense (including stem-changing verbs, irregular verbs and reflexive verbs) and learn Present Progressive, Preterite and Imperfect tenses. Students and instructor will converse primarily in Spanish to give a full immersion experience and to train students to hear the language as well as speak it. Students must have completed Conversational Spanish II or have had recent Spanish language experience. In this class, we will cover present and past tenses.\n\nRequired Textbook: Practice Makes Perfect Spanish Verb Tenses any edition. Conversational Spanish Courses are taught in both English and Spanish.<p class="MsoNormal"><b>NOTE:</b> All class times are Pacific Time (PT).</p><p class="MsoNormal"><b>Online Course Information/Requirements: </b></p>- Course fee covers registration for one person unless otherwise noted.<br>- Must have access to a computer or laptop with current updated operating system. Mobile devices can be used to access some parts of classes but you may not be able to fully participate or complete your course on a phone or tablet. <br>- A high-speed internet connection.<br> - An up-to-date internet browser. We recommend Firefox or Chrome. Internet Explorer or Safari may have trouble and are not supported.<br>- Integrated or USB-connected webcam, speakers and microphone.<br>- You will need a Zoom login.
