Biography: Dennis Carr has helped Human Resource professionals prepare for certification exams for 15 years through teaching exam prep courses. After a 30-year career as a manager and human resource director for three public education institutions, he recently retired from 17 years serving as the Chief Human Resource Officer for Lane Community College. Dennis earned a Master of Human Resource Management degree and a SHRM-SCP certification. Students in his certification preparation courses have a pass rate exceeding 90%, which is substantially above the national passing rate of about 60% for all SHRM test-takers.
