Instructor: Sara Krempel

Biography: Sara Krempel is professor emeritus at Central Oregon Community College where she taught jewelry/metalwork, ceramics and three-dimensional basic design from 1990-2012.

Sara has been working in non-ferrous metals for over 40 years. Her fascination with metal working continues because the number of techniques and the combinations of techniques for working with metal are endless.

Images of Sara's work are published in 5 metalwork/jewelry books, as well as in Art Jewelry magazine, March, 2014.

She received her Master of Fine Arts degree in jewelry/metalwork from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1985.

Sara is a member of Central Oregon Metal Arts Guild of Bend, OR and Creative Metal Arts Guild of Portland, OR.
