You'll learn the 12 basic steps of bread baking and the differences between using commercial yeast and sourdough starters in our dough. You'll practice shaping baguettes, "scoring" them with 5 traditional slashes, using a couche for proofing the elongated loaves and load a deck oven with confidence. To top off the day, you'll take home freshly baked baguettes!\n\nBring an apron, sharp knife and take-home containers. Please Note: We recognize that many individuals have specific dietary restrictions, aversions and/or requests. Due to the nature of our culinary classes, the menu is set and we are limited in our ability to make adjustments, and outside food cannot be brought in to meet special requirements.
