Micro Course Information: LDEM122 - The Effective Employee's Toolbox

No matter how long you have been in the workforce, there is always more for you to learn, re-learn, and even unlearn. This micro course will provide you with the opportunity to update and/or refine the skills needed to be an effective employee in today's workplace. Micro Course Outline 


Unit 1 - Learn the importance of exercising clarity and purpose in your communications and explore how to improve your social media presence.

   

Unit 2 - Practice problem solving to identify multiple potential solutions; learn how to make informed, independent decisions within your purview; and apply a growth mindset to any situation.


Unit 3 - Define integrity and personal accountability, collaborate more effectively to resolve interpersonal conflicts, and learn best practices in time management and reliability.


Unit 4 - Explore how to demonstrate resilience in the face of change and challenge, practice optimism in any situation, identify ways to adapt and remain productive, and show up as a positive influencer within your workplace.
