Course Detail: ADRW-248 - NON-TOXIC OIL PAINTING


Unleash your creativity in a vibrant and eco-friendly environment with our painting class featuring non-toxic, water-based oil paints. This innovative medium offers the rich, buttery texture of traditional oils without the harmful solvents, making it perfect for artists of all levels. Learn color mixing, brushwork, and composition, helping you create stunning artworks that are both expressive and environmentally conscious. Due to limited storage space, students will work from reference images and create paintings 24" x 20" or smaller.

Supplies required for the course:

  • Brush Cleaner - Chelsea Creative Studio lavender (or citrus)
  • Silicoil Jar or Small Jar
  • Old Rags
  • 8 x 10 canvas or 11 x 15 canvas
  • Palette Knife
  • 5 sheets of canvas paper, mixed media paper, or arches oil paper
  • Chelsea Creative studio Lavender Fat and Lean mediums - one small bottle of each
  • Oil Paint 35 ml tubes:
