This course is taught in cooperation with Relyon Nutec under their GWO approval and is delivered in Blended Learning Format. This course consists of five modules: Working at Heights, First Aid, Sea Survival, Manual Handling, and Fire Awareness. PARTICIPANTS MUST COMPLETE BLENDED LEARNING NO LATER THAN 48 HOURS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL ON CAMPUS. Students will be weighed and must be 275lbs or less in order to not exceed the rating of fall protection equipment. PARTICIPANTS MUST WEAR LONG PANTS, SAFETY SHOES, AND BRING WORK GLOVES AND SAFETY GLASSES. PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING A TOWEL AND A CHANGE OF CLOTHES FOR THE SEA SURVIVAL MODULE AS THEY WILL GET WET.

Any applicant who successfully completes our Proficiency in Survival Craft Refresher (MAMAMT-749) course will satisfy: The Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats Other Than Fast Rescue Boats (PSC) continued standards of competence required by 46 CFR 12.613(b)(4) for mariners who have previously held a PSC endorsement under STCW Code Section A-VI/2 but cannot meet the requirement for 1 year of sea service in last 5 years.
