As part of this class, students will complete 43 hours of nurse assistant theory coursework over a period of 4 weeks. Assignments are posted each week and are due on Sundays. Assignments are completed as students have time during the week. There are no designated times students need to log on to meet with the instructor. An instructor guides students through the course, provides feedback, and encourages student learning.

Please note that lab and clinical (required portions of a state-approved 75-hour Nurse Assistant Training Program) are not included in this course. Students MUST have prior approval from their employer prior to registering for this course. This course is only meant to serve students employed by a facility with a current 75-hour state-approved program. Books are included in the course fee and will be mailed within a week prior to the training start date.

State nurse assistant certification testing is not included in this course. Students wishing to take the state certification exam will need to contact the test site directly to schedule an exam. Minimum Age: Students must be 15 years of age by the start date of the course.

Registration for the online theory course will close 5 days prior to the class start date.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation more than 5 days prior to start of training results in a 25% cancellation fee based on the class fee. Cancellation 5 days or less to the start of training results in no refund.
