Course detail: Kansas Juvenile Officers Association Annual Conference

The Kansas Juvenile Officers Association will be hosting their annual conference July 26-30, 2021 at the Oread Hotel in Lawrence, KS.  

This year's conference will feature presentations in leadership, burnout, gang prevention, trauma and brain development, and the latest technology communication tools. In addition, hear from the Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt and updates from those representing NASRO, DARE America, Kansas Department of Corrections and a special luncheon presentation from the Kansas Department of Transportation. Join us for special networking events and the Awards Banquet on Thursday, July 29th.

The Oread Hotel - 1200 Oread Avenue - Lawrence, KS 66044

Lodging:  
Sleeping rooms are available at The Oread Hotel at the conference rate of $96 plus applicable tax.  For reservations, please contact The Oread Hotel directly at (785) 843-1200 and reference the KSJOA Room Block.  

Registration Fees:  
All attendees are required to pay the $225 registration fee, which will include ONE banquet ticket.  Additional banquet tickets can be purchased for $35 each, by selecting the "add-on" option during the registration process below.  If you wish to attend a single day of training, the registration fee is $100 per person.  Please select registration preference from the drop-down list provided below.  

Cancellations:
It is recommended you send a qualified substitute if you cannot attend.  Please contact Jenny Caywood or Mary Ellen Kirkbride prior to July 14, 2021 if you are unable to attend.  No refunds will be made after that date.
