Course detail: Annual Frontiers in Education (FIE) Conference

Online registration closes on October 11. After that time, you must call +1 913-897-8530 to register.
Onsite registration in Lincoln will also be available.

Covid-19 Precautions

The FIE 2021 conference will meet in Lincoln, Nebraska, but presenters who are prohibited from traveling due to COVID restrictions will be allowed to present and attend online. Those who are attending remotely should carefully read the instructions for remote attendees below.

At least one author for each paper must register by August 15, 2021.

In order for a paper to be published, at least one of the paper's authors must pay the full registration fee and attend the conference to present the paper. Therefore, students who author or co-author a paper and are the only author attending the conference will pay a fee comparable to that paid by an IEEE or ASEE member, not the student rate. Look for the fee labeled "Student Sole Author Registration." Please check the FIE 2021 website for more information.

When registering, use the drop down menu marked "Price" to choose your option. An IEEE or ASEE membership number is required if you are registering as a member. After choosing your main registration fee, scroll down to the "Add-ons" section to register for other conference events, like the workshops or the awards banquet.

Instructions for remote attendees:
If your paper is being presented remotely (that is, the presenter will be online, not in Lincoln), at least one of the authors of the paper must register using one of the REMOTE Presenter fee options at the bottom of the list.
Remote attendees who are not registering as a paper's author should choose one of the REMOTE Attendee fee options.

Wednesday, October 13 is pre-conference workshop day. All short pre-conference workshops are free to those who are registered for the full conference.

Refund/Cancellation Policy: A full refund of registration fees, less a $50 processing fee, will be available if requested in writing and received by September 29, 2021.

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend University of Kansas sponsored events. If you require a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this event, please email lpe@ku.edu or call 913-897-8530 no later than September 13, 2021.
