Course Description: Pass the Pie! Savory & Sweet Youth Camp

Pie comes in all shapes and sizes, and can can be savory or sweet. This class teaches the fundamentals of pie dough making and dives into the fun of baking recipes that satisfy a sweet tooth as well as serve as a main course. Think: fresh berry pies, sweet potato pies, as well as quiche in this culinary camp. After mastering sweet and savory pies, you'll be the Chef of the house for dinner and dessert! Ages 10-15.The kitchen is not gluten or peanut free. Please indicate known allergies in the check out process when prompted. Adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class.

Additional Course Information

Bring 1-2 leftover containers each day to share what you prepared with your family and friends! The purchase of a Chef coat is optional and can be selected at checkout. Students are required to wear closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.

Cancellation Policy

Students must cancel by contacting our office via phone: (541) 383-7270 or email: ceinfo@cocc.edu. Cancellations received 5 days prior to the start of the class will receive a full refund. Full refunds are also issued for classes cancelled by COCC. Refunds will be issued back to your card or in the form of a check and mailed within two weeks of the cancellation date if paid by check or cash. Failure to participate in a course or program does not result in a refund. Exceptions to the general refund policy are noted in the course descriptions on our website and in the printed schedule.
