Course Description: Reiki Level I

Reiki is a hands-on healing technique that promotes relaxation, balance, and well-being using the life-force energy called Ki (chi). A Reiki treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows in and around you. Scientific studies have validated that Reiki treatments can shorten recovery times after surgeries and injuries, lower resting heart rate and blood pressure, and impart feelings of peace and calm. It is rising in popularity and is now included in many hospitals. Reiki is a simple, natural, and safe method of healing and self-improvement that everyone can learn and use! In this class, learn about the history of Reiki, how to use it to promote healing for yourself and others, and practice giving and receiving Reiki. Students will receive a beautiful Reiki Level 1 manual and a personalized Reiki First Degree Certificate of Completion. This class qualifies for 5 Continuing Education hands-on contact hours for Oregon LMTs. Please wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a journal, a water bottle, a light lunch, and a curious mind!

Additional Course Information

Class will take place at In Balance Bodywork, 720 NW Hill St., Bend, OR 97703. Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from the class. Students are encouraged to wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a journal, a water bottle, and a light lunch.

Cancellation Policy

Students must cancel by contacting our office via phone: (541) 383-7270 or email: ceinfo@cocc.edu. Cancellations received 5 days prior to the start of the class will receive a full refund. Full refunds are also issued for classes cancelled by COCC. Refunds will be issued back to your card or in the form of a check and mailed within two weeks of the cancellation date if paid by check or cash. Failure to participate in a course or program does not result in a refund. Exceptions to the general refund policy are noted in the course descriptions on our website and in the printed schedule.
